Dawn Kelly, Founder & CEO of The Nourish Spot Inc., established the plant-based eatery in August 2017, earning accolades such as being one of six 2021 Entrepreneurs of the Year in New York State in 2020 and the Small Business Administration's Microbusiness of the Year in May 2019. The Nourish Spot provides customizable food and beverage options, internships, and job opportunities for local youth, offering smoothies, salads, cold-pressed juices, and sandwich wraps.

A 2022 graduate of Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses and a 2020 alumna of Interise's Streetwise MBA program, Dawn is a prominent figure in New York's small business community. Apart from her entrepreneurial ventures, she mentors for WE NYC, serves on the NYC Mayor's Small Business Advisory Commission, and brings almost 16 years of executive experience from Prudential Financial Inc.

Dawn is an active member of NYC Hospitality Alliance, Queens Together, and the Queens Chamber of Commerce. A Howard University graduate, she has secured numerous grants for The Nourish Spot including recent Social Impact grant from the American Heart Association. In October 2023, she received the Community Champion award from the Jamaica Center for Arts and Learning, followed by the 2023 Excellence in Business Honoree recognition from the Greater Jamaica Development Corporation, acknowledging her recent retail success, community service, and past communications campaigns.
