Joshua is the President of the Restaurant Workers of America (RWA), a national nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation of the tip credit and tip wage system. He lives in Portland, ME where he is also a server at The Porthole Restaurant & Pub. He’s been waiting tables and bartending for 25 years now, and in the last 7 years has become a worker and wage advocate.
Joshua has been leading worker efforts in many states, and nationally, to show legislators that the tip credit is an imperative part of the tipped worker pay structure.
