Magda Desdunes, MPH is the Food Service Establishment Ombudsperson for Bureau of Food Safety and Community Sanitation at the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. She has been overseeing the Ombuds Office since December 2014. Magda receives complaints, compliments, questions, and comments about the inspector or inspection process and investigates complaints. She is the liaison between the NYC Health Department and food service industry.
